Before pursuing her Bachelor’s
Degree in Recreation Administration with a Minor in Business at
Cal Poly of San Luis Obispo, CA, Wendy graduated from Saddleback
Junior College, CA with certificates in Recreation, Coaching, and
Aquatics.
As a sports instructor and coach,
Wendy noticed that many students, who had incurred injury or whose
muscles were fatigued, benefited from massage. As an athlete herself,
she regularly received massage before competitions. She kept her
dreams on hold until 2002 when she earned a 1000-hour certificate
in Integrated Massage at the Golden Institute of Massage in Golden,
CO.
Enthused with
this knowledge, and combined with her personal experience and
natural athletic ability, Wendy provides a strong, firm touch
integrated with an intuitive energetic sense of body mechanics.
She opened her first practice in 2003 at Bikram’s Yoga Studio, Golden, CO. Since that time,
she has expanded her growing practice now located in the Gold Office
Building, Golden, CO. Golden Bodyworker’s solid foundation
has empowered her to assist and encourage others to follow their
dreams!
