Our goals at the "Golden BodyWorker", are to assist clients in physically and spiritually aligning their bodies by improving circulation of blood and increasing the flexibility of muscles, ligaments and other soft tissue. We work with you to achieve:

  • releasing problematic muscles
  • reducing muscle tissue inflammation to alleviate pain
  • decreasing stress in an easy-going, relaxed environment

We understand how important it is to keep the mind and body strong and healthy to create happiness in one's life. Together, we will discuss:

  • past injuries
  • health history
  • any pain or areas of tension you may have

Additionally, we will leave the room for your privacy so that you may undress to your comfortability and need. Do not forget to drink plenty of water to flush out your system after the massage.

Before pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Administration with a Minor in Business at Cal Poly of San Luis Obispo, CA, Wendy graduated from Saddleback Junior College, CA with certificates in Recreation, Coaching, and Aquatics.

As a sports instructor and coach, Wendy noticed that many students, who had incurred injury or whose muscles were fatigued, benefited from massage. As an athlete herself, she regularly received massage before competitions. She kept her dreams on hold until 2002 when she earned a 1000-hour certificate in Integrated Massage at the Golden Institute of Massage in Golden, CO.

Enthused with this knowledge, and combined with her personal experience and natural athletic ability, Wendy provides a strong, firm touch integrated with an intuitive energetic sense of body mechanics. She opened her first practice in 2003 at Bikram’s Yoga Studio, Golden, CO. Since that time, she has expanded her growing practice now located in the Gold Office Building, Golden, CO. Golden Bodyworker’s solid foundation has empowered her to assist and encourage others to follow their dreams!

Wendy’s experience and education offers a wide variety of modalities and techniques which include Neuromuscular Therapy, Swedish, Reflexology, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Chair Massage, Jin Shin High Touch (acupressure), Pregnancy Massage, Infant Instructional Classes, Therapeutic Touch, Nutrition, Reiki Master, Lomi-Lomi Hawaiian Temple, and Stone Therapy. She continues her education with both Advanced Myofascial Release and the application of Native American Shamanic principles.

A Certified Massage Therapist with a degree in Health and Wellness, he is able to provide his client's individualized care through goal oriented therapy.

Drawn to the health field from an early age, Liz found a career she loved in massage therapy. After graduating from the Colorado School of Healing Arts in March of 2007 she started working in Denver and the surrounding area doing chair massage and working for the Golden Bodyworker.

Liz integrates her training in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports Massage along with Polarity, Prenatal and Postnatal, Hot Stones, and Neuromuscular therapy to perform massages that are individualistic to each client’s therapeutic needs and wants!

As a new mother she understands the need to heal, maintain, and unwind the body and mind. Liz’s intention is to give bodywork that helps her clients’ daily life to be a little less stressful and a little more enjoyable!
